Se trata de una sesión didáctica y una pequeña audición que tendrá lugar el próximo viernes 13 de abril en la sala Carmelo Solís del Conservatorio Profesional Juan Vázquez y que está enmarcada en el III Ciclo "Juan Vázquez, músico natural de la ciudad de Badajoz…". Tiene como objetivo aproximar la música del s. XVI y anterior a los estudiantes de conservatorio dado que esta no se aborda de forma directa y general en las programaciones oficiales de estos centros. La actividad didáctica consistirá en la lectura colectiva de repertorio vocal del s. XVI adaptado a una y dos voces. En el montaje se abordarán aspectos relativos al proceso de edición de la partitura; desde cómo se encuentra en las fuentes hasta las posibles formas de interpretación. Se desarrollará a partir de las 20:00 horas y podrán participar de forma activa todos aquellos estudiantes con unos mínimos conocimientos de lectura musical o experiencia y práctica vocal. Acto seguido los alumnos Alejandro Morales (arpa), Carolina Chacón (arpa), Andrés López (flauta de pico), María de Gracia Benítez (canto) y Yaiza Herrero (canto) ofrecerán una pequeña audición interpretando tres obras de Juan Vázquez, protagonista de este ciclo y personaje que da nombre al conservatorio profesional en el que todos estos alumnos estudian.
