Not overly complicated, a bit redundant, but if you're not up for/don't have time for the GH, "Big Costanzo" is a winner. The key with this book is to read a chapter in chunks--the same probably goes for GH and most larger textbooks, I guess. Most if not all chapters are less than 70pgs (most are around 40-50). If you're a med student and working in organ systems of 3-6 weeks, take 4-5 days to get through a chapter comfortably (8-10pgs/day) at the beginning of the block you'll be pleased, in my opinion. One critique would be to have a couple Box sections to highlight clinical experiments. If you have medical school physio question source though you're not missing much at all with regards to experiments though. Reviewed in the United States on April 18, 2018 Verified Purchase Great book for M1 students. MUCH better than the THICK physio textbooks that you never get to finish reading and if you try to do so, you will get lost in the tiny details. It covers 99. 99% of everything a medical student needs to know.
