It good for what it is. Though, I wish they were more books like these being published now. After the first Nightmare Hall novel, this one felt like a bit of a disappointment. My first disappointment was that it wasn't actually set in Nightingale Hall. The action this time took place in on-campus residences and Nightingale Hall was only mentioned a couple of times in passing. My second disappointment was the fact that basically nothing happened in the story. For the most part, it just focused on four girls who shared a "suite", which I think basically implied that they shared a bathroom.. Hmm I know it's young adult fiction, aimed at kids and it will never be Stephen King but this book severely annoyed me! Been a big Point Horror fan in the 90s, I was planning on reading the whole Nightmare Hall Series but this instalments has put me right off. Luckily the ending improved the book.
