AG lawyer Kevin Wallace asked for restitution between $476 million and $1. 6 billion during opening statements at the Manhattan Supreme Court trial brought against the oil giant by the AG's office in October 2018. "We are not telling Exxon how to run its business, it was and always is free to change its business practices. But it has to be honest with investors, " Wallace said. Wallace said that the Texas-based company deceived the public and investors for years by using two sets of books to account for the rising costs of environmental regulations around the world — and the negative impact it would have on the company's worth.

Nurses and Midwives Reflection Process Nurses and Midwives in the UK are formally required to record 5 pieces of reflection on either continuing professional development (CPD) or practice related feedback to improve their nursing practice. I have recently reviewed my Nurses Reflection Diary (Workbook) to include a model of reflection. You can use this model to break down the steps of reflection, draw conclusions and decide on how you are going to improve practice. I have chosen Gibbs model as a simple way of taking you through the steps of reflection and being able to show compliance. Also included is a real-life example of a reflective piece using the Gibbs model. Let's Get Started To see if Gibbs reflective cycle can help you reflect on aspects of your practice, recall a nursing situation that didn't turn out as you expected or go to plan. Maybe you wanted to do more? Look at the Gibbs Model flow chart above – Stage 1 – Description (Pure Facts) The first step is to describe what you know.

Subscribe to Ukulele on BY ADAM PERLMUTTER | FROM THE SUMMER 2019 ISSUE OF UKULELE The beginning of 1969 was a difficult time for the Beatles' George Harrison, who had become disillusioned about the band's business affairs and even quit temporarily. But things began to look up in the spring of that year, and when Harrison was visiting the country home of his friend Eric Clapton, he wrote what would prove one of the Beatles' most popular songs—and one of the greatest songs in the rock canon in general—"Here Comes the Sun. " When Harrison recorded "Here Comes the Sun, " he got a bright sound by capoing his acoustic guitar at the seventh fret and fingering chord shapes in the key of D major (sounding in A major). These shapes translate well to the ukulele, as you'll see in this solo arrangement, which captures Harrison's gentle riffs and warm vocal melody. The arrangement is in the key of G, but you can play it in the original key of A simply by placing a capo at the second fret or using D6 tuning (A D F# B).
