The forced blending of opposite sides of the brain creates an interesting system of produsage. This is probably why there is so much controversy and confusion as to the guidelines and values of the newsroom. While it is important to include all sides to a story, balance can be an issue when writing articles. Different opinions must be relayed, but that does not mean that they should be relayed in perfect equation. Sometimes, one side highly outweighs the other in number or social recognition. So while both sides must be covered, the "greater" side must be given realistic coverage. It is hard to find adequate balance when covering news. When writing, a journalist must follow a basic method of objectivity and truthfulness. One cannot add information that does not exist nor lie to his or his audience. The motives and ways of calculation behind an article should be apparent to the audience. A reporter must not just quote other reporters and do investigating of his or her own while not sounding full of him or herself.
¡Hola a todos! Me he dado cuenta de que a muchos alumnos les cuesta bastante entender y saber utilizar el estilo indirecto. Así que hoy os traigo algunas actividades para practicarlo que a mí y a mis alumnos nos han venido muy bien. En primer lugar, una infografía para estudiar o repasar el uso del estilo indirecto. Hay manuales en los que no me acaba de convencer cómo viene explicado o aparece sin ejemplos para cada caso, por eso, decidí hacer yo misma una infografía. La colgué hace poco en mi blog, y la podéis descargar gratuitamente aquí también. Normalmente, una vez explicado el uso del estilo indirecto, dibujo unos cómics en la pizarra. (Dibujo bastante mal, lo cual es una ventaja en este caso, porque se ríen un montón con mis dibujos…) Dibujo una o varias viñetas con personajes hablando y después ellos tienen que reproducirlo en estilo indirecto. Es algo un poco diferente a los típicos y aburridos ejercicios de rellenar huecos. Después de esta actividad me gusta crear cómics para que ellos mismos rellenen los bocadillos.
